Adobe Adobe Creative Cloud for NZ Schools
If you are interested in this great deal for all NZ schools, please contact us: info@mentis.co.nz . Adobe Creative Cloud for education has two licensing options to fit NZ schools' needs, available through Adobe VIP (Marketplace). Both are annual subscription based. Adobe CC School Shared Device Licence Program Shared Device licensing is Ideal for desktop computer labs, classrooms, and training environments because it’s licensing for each computer rather than each user, so multiple students can use the same application on a single computer. A shared device licence includes all the latest Adobe Creative Cloud 20+ desktop apps,.A shared device licence can be installed on either one Mac or one Windows operating system, so no need to buy for separate platforms. If a computer is decommissioned that license can be reallocated to another machine. The minimum purchase is for 25 Shared Device Licences, but any number 25 or greater may be purchased.Currently about NZ$45.00 + gst per device, per 12 months. Price can change a little, based on exchange rates. Adobe CC School Named-User Licence Program, including student BYOD Named-user licensing is for individuals on their personal computers, and it includes access to online services. Ideal for small workgroups, staff, students, and especially for bring your own device (BYOD) environments.A Named-user licence includes all the latest Adobe Creative Cloud 20+ desktop apps.It includes all the latest Adobe mobile apps, including Capture CC and Photoshop Mix.Also includes File sharing and syncing (2GB per user). You manage and administer your account with the Adobe Admin Console. Use the Admin Console to assign users and invite them to join your team, so they can use Adobe apps and services. You assign licences to a user by entering their email address. For schools, the named user must include a school based email address associated with the school's domain name. You can assign licences to multiple uses by uploading the email addresses as a CSV file, delimited by either commas or tabs. When you assign licenses to users, Adobe automatically sends email invitations to those users. Once the users accept their invitations, Adobe assigns licenses to them. You must have unassigned licenses to be able to invite users. Then the user downloads the applications they require via CC Desktop App. Installation on student-owned/leased devices is allowed so this is a great economic option for schools that have student BYOD.Allocation of Named-User licences to students is much simpler than for Shared Device licences. The minimum purchase is for 125 Named-user Licences, but any number 125 or greater may be purchased.Currently about NZ$9.00 + gst per device, per 12 months. Price can change a little, based on exchange rates. Additional Details Schools are allowed to deploy the Adobe named-user licences to student owned/leased computers.Schools are allowed to charge the students an administrative fee for this.Schools must not say they are 'selling' the Adobe software to students. When you are ready to need the Adobe Licences for Creative Cloud...Just send an email confirming an order for the particular number of Shared Devices Licences (25 or greater) and / or Named-user Licences (125 or greater).Include any order number you might need on your invoice (but we don't require it). The Minimum purchase is for 25 devices, ie 25 x $45.00 = $1125 + gstor 125 Named-Users ie 125 x $9.00 = $1125 + gst You can have a mixture of both Shared Device Licences (predominantly for school lab computers) and Named-User Licences (predominantly for student and teacher computers), but the minimum numbers of each type applies. We suggest you supply an email address that is used at your school for Software Admin purposes.Often schools use something like ICTadmin@yourschool....(Then when an staff member moves on, the email address does not 'terminate'.)The initial order for licences can be for for longer than 12 months subscription. This may help the Anniversary Date for following years subscription renewals better fit into your school budget year. The price would be proportionally greater than the current $45.00 or $9.00 eg 14 months would be 14/12 x these prices. Then we enroll you in the Adobe VIP Program. You get an email from Adobe requiring accepting their the legal Terms and Conditions of the VIP Program. Then we can place your order with Adobe.Your school is assigned a VIP Number ( a unique identifying account ID number) and is given administrative access to the Adobe Admin Console. It takes just a day or so from placing your order to being able to install / activate the licences your end.We would send you an invoice once you have received your Licence allocation. If at a later stage during the subscription year more licences are required than purchased initially, the minimum additional later purchase is also for 25 Shared Device Licences, or 125 Named-User Licences. The price for the additional licences is co-termed and prorated based on the number of days remaining to the Anniversary Date of the original subscription purchase. Then all the licences owned by a school fall on the same VIP Anniversary Date.
